Biodiversity meets design: our wooden PoP in Essen
We have created a special wooden PoP for Essen that is both visually appealing and ecologically valuable. At its heart is a biodiversity mat made of sedum and herb species on a coconut fiber mat with Sempergreen substrate.
The plant mixture, which complies with FLL guidelines, ensures flowering times from spring to fall and provides nectar for bees and a habitat for butterflies and caterpillars.
The wooden design, made of Douglas fir, rhombus profiles with tongue-and-groove cladding, and smooth-edged boards, is elegantly finished with an anthracite aluminum cover plate.
A project that combines sustainability, biodiversity, and high-quality wood design.
